Snakes On The Field!

TORRANCE, Calif. (KTLA) — Authorities in Torrance are trying to round up some snakes that were dumped onto a Little League field over the weekend. A few varieties of pythons and a yellow anaconda were among the snakes found at Entradero Park. Neal Marks, who maintains the fields, said he found two snakes that were seven feet long. Police believe that at least two are still on the loose. While none of the snakes are poisonous, they are still dangerous to small pets because they are constrictor snakes, Torrance police cautioned. All of the snakes are exotic and not native to Southern California. Police believe someone had raised them for several years before offloading their collection at the baseball field.
